Dear Wadehra Bhai,
You have done 79ers proud. While congratulating you on this occasion let me say that by tagging ourselves (79ers)with you as a fellow 79er, we too have become "smart scholars". Smart way of snatching some credit you say?

DEEP-SEA TRENCHES
DEEP-SEA TRENCHES
Compiled by Chilman Sahni
There are about 20 deep trenches in the world’s oceans. The eight deepest of these would be deep enough to submerge Mount Everest, which is 8,850m high. The Marianas Trench is the deepest ocean, the Pacific. It was discovered in 1951 and explored on 7 January 1960 when Jacques Piccard (Switzerland) and Donald Walsh (USA) descended in their bathyscaphe Trieste 2 to a depth that has since been calculated as 10,911m.
