A Masters Degree holder in Mass Communication and BA Honours in English Literature from Panjab University Ritesh Lakhi is, presently, Editor with PTC News. After being trainee journalist with The Tribune and The Indian Express, he was a reporter with the Alliance News & Television Network. He also dabbled in copywriting for various advertisement agencies. However, he started his journalistic career in right earnest as Assistant Producer with Tara Punjabi television channel in 2000.  Later on he was Special Correspondent with Zee News. Noted for his thoroughly informative talk shows like Khabarsaar etc for Zee Punjabi (then Alpha TV) and now Masle and Straight Talk for PTC News Lakhi has done more than 1200 panel discussion shows. Having worked in cutting edge news environment Lakhi is today known for his thorough knowledge of political, economic and social aspects of Punjab and the surrounding region.

Today he is one of the better known names in Punjabi journalism.
