Her mild rebukes
Keep us on the right path
Her cheers inspire us to learn all
Be it science, social studies or math
We learn at her feet
How to behave
To prepare for tests at school
And in coming life to be brave
How to be disciplined
We learn from our teacher
She is the fount of knowledge
That lights up our future
