The last stagecoach
Horse-drawn stagecoaches carried passengers and mail in Britain from the 17th century until the 19th century, when they were gradually replaced by trains. The Royal Mail between Inverness and Thurso, Scotland, last operated in October 1874.

The last horse-drawn bus ran in London on 25 October 1911.
The last voyage of the Titanic
The last voyage of the Titanic was also its first. It sank on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg, killing 1,517 people.
The last Model T Ford
The Model T, first produced in 1908, was one of the most popular cars of all time. The last US made Model T (number 15,007,033) rolled off the production line on Thursday 26 May 1927.
The last Route master bus
The Route master double-decker bus was introduced in London on 8 February 1956 and was a familiar sight in the capital for almost 50 years. The last route master service ran on Friday 9 December 2005, although there are still two heritage routes in operation.
Last flight of Concorde
Concorde was the world’s only supersonic airliner. It was in service for 34 years until it made its last commercial flight, from New York to London, on 24 October 2003.
