Cleopatra VII ruled from 69 BC, when she was 17 years old, until 30 BC, when Egypt became a province of the Roman empire.

Romulus Augustulus was about 14 when he was removed from power in AD 476. The Roman empire split into western and eastern divisions.
The last British king killed in battle
Richard III was killed at the battle of Bosworth on 22 August 1485.
The last Aztec emperor
Montezuma II was removed from power by Spanish invaders and killed in June 1520.
The last British king born abroad
George II was born in Hanover, Germany, on 10 November 1683.
The last king of France
Louis-Philippe (1773-1850) reigned from 1830 until 24 February 1848, when he gave up his throne. disguised as “Mr. Smith”, he travelled to England where he lived until his death.
The last emperor of China
Hsüan T’ ung gave up his throne on 12 February 1912 and later took the name Henry Pu- yi. The film The Last Emperor is about his life.
The last tsar of Russia
Nicholas II was removed from power by the Russian Revolution of 1917, and murdered with his family at Ekaterinburg in July 1918. Their remains were reburied in St Petersburg in July 1998.
